Description
Use the wSelectionEnd property to obtain the index (zero-based) of the first character that follows the selected text in the edit control. The index of the last selected character will be equal to wSelectionEnd-1. Characters in the text box are enumerated from left to right. To get the number of selected characters, subtract the wSelectionStart property value from the wSelectionEnd property value.

Property Value
An integer value specified the index of character that follows the last selected character. If the text is not selected, wSelectionStart indicates the position of the cursor.
