

On this page of the Checkpoint wizard, you can specify an image comparison mask to be used for comparison:

Select Use existing comparison mask.

Specify the path to the file that you want to use as a comparison mask. You can type the file path manually or you can click the ellipsis button and browse for the needed file in the resulting dialog.
The file must contain black and white pixels only.
You can also click the down-arrow button and select one of the comparison masks existing in your project (if any).

Select Create new comparison mask.

Enter the mask name.

Specify the pixels to include into or exclude from the comparison:

To exclude one or several pixels from the comparison, click and then click the desired pixel in the image, or click and drag the mouse pointer to mark a number of pixels to be ignored.

To add one or several pixels to the comparison, click and then click the desired pixel in the image, or click and drag the mouse pointer to add pixels to the comparison.

To select the area you want to exclude from or add to comparison, use or .

To exclude the selected area from comparison, use .

To add the selected area to comparison, use .

To change the image scale, use , and .

To undo and redo changes, use and .

To restore the original comparison mask, use .

To specify whether excluded areas are displayed or not, use Show Excluded Areas. When the button is pressed (by default), ignored areas are shown semitransparent, otherwise they are not shown.

To proceed with the checkpoint creation, click Next.
