The Keyword Test Editor - Groups Options dialog lets you specify settings used to group keyword test operations in the Keyword Test editor. To call the dialog, select Tools | Options from the TestComplete main menu and then choose Panels | Keyword Test Editor | Groups on the left of the subsequent Options dialog.

The following options are available:

  • Operations that do not affect grouping - Holds a list of keyword test operations that can be added to a group node without breaking the group. After the operations specified in this list are added to a test, they are displayed as child nodes of the current group. Note that if you try to add these operations at the beginning or at the end of a group, they will jump out of the group node.

To add a new operation to the list, click Add. This invokes the Select Operation dialog where you can browse for the desired operation. To remove an operation from the list, select it and click Remove. To delete all existing operations, click Clear.

  • Group operations - Specifies whether operations should be organized into grouping nodes.

  • Maximum depth - Specifies the maximum number of group nodes for keyword test operations that are displayed in the Keyword Test editor. Possible values are 0…5. Default: 2. 0 means that operations will be displayed without their child operations.

To save the changes and close the dialog, click OK. Cancel will close the dialog and discard all the changes.
