Currently, to activate and use TestComplete with the SmartBear account, your computer needs access to the SmartBear license servers.
Private networks are isolated from the global Web, so you might need special permissions from your system administrators to access the Web. A possible alternative is to use regular key-based activation:
Contact the SmartBear Customer Care team or your Sales Representative for the license key:
In TestComplete, select Help > Switch to Key-Based Licensing from the main menu to switch the licensing scheme, and follow the instructions you will see on the screen.
Since your computer is not connected to the Web, you will go through the manual activation steps. See Manual Activation Procedure for complete information on this.
