Bug Fixes in TestComplete 14.73

The following bugs reported by our customers have been fixed in TestComplete 14.73.

General

  • Fixed: After a computer was rebooted using the RebootAndContinue method, TestComplete (or TestExecute) failed to access the license.

  • Fixed: TestComplete could exit unexpectedly when a user was creating a new project in a project suite if a project had been removed from that project suite before.

  • Fixed: It took much time (up to several minutes) to clone a project.

  • Fixed: If the timeout set for a test item expired while the test was executing the If Object operation, the test log did not inform that the test was terminated on timeout.

  • Fixed: TestComplete could exit unexpectedly during the test run.

Desktop testing

  • Fixed: TestComplete could fail to recognize objects in Java applications or get object properties in those applications correctly.

Web testing

  • Fixed: If a project had dynamic id patterns configured, TestComplete could fail to record web tests with the Use XPath and CSS selectors for web objects option enabled.

  • Fixed: TestComplete sometimes failed to identify objects in CEF applications.

  • Fixed: The tested CEF application could exit unexpectedly during the test run.

Script tests

  • Fixed: In Python script tests, the Code Completion did not show the description for functions declared in other units.
