The information below concerns legacy mobile tests that work with mobile devices connected to the local computer. For new mobile tests, we recommend using the newer cloud-compatible approach. |
TestComplete displays this message when you are trying to simulate a multi-touch event (a gesture) on a mobile device that does not support multi-touch events.
Simulating multi-touch events differs from simulating regular user actions on a mobile device's screen. Some devices do not support this kind of events and, therefore, cannot be used for simulation. Typically, these are virtual machines running on a PC or mobile devices running in a mobile device cloud. Due to their nature, they do not support complex events that include several concurrent touches of the screen and several concurrent movements.
To simulate a multi-touch event (a gesture), use a device that supports these events. Typically, this is some physical mobile device. For complete information, see Executing Gestures (Multi-Touch Events) (Legacy).
