This topic contains a list of available options for handling REST requests in ReadyAPI.

To configure the REST options:

Click on the ReadyAPI toolbar.
Switch to the REST tab in the left part of the ReadyAPI Preferences window and configure the necessary options.

The available options and their descriptions are in the table below.

Option	Description
Load schema types	If enabled, ReadyAPI loads dependent XSD schema types.
Use empty XSD schemas	If enabled, ReadyAPI loads empty XSD schemas. Otherwise, empty schemas are ignored.
Trim REST	If selected, spaces at the beginning and at the end of REST files are removed.
Remove 'd' element from JSON	If selected, ReadyAPI will automatically remove the `d` root node from the JSON response.
