To add a server:

Switch to the Monitoring page.

Click
on the toolbar.

In the subsequent Add server dialog:

Enter the server name to the Name field. This name will be used in ReadyAPI and does not affect your server.

Enter the server address to the Host Name field. You can enter either the IP address or the host name.
Windows monitors do not support the IP address. You must use the host name. -
Select the default monitor for your web server and specify connection properties:
Depending on the monitor, you may need to configure connection properties for your monitor. For a list of required settings, see the Monitor Reference section.

After you configure the connection properties, click OK.
