Internal Browser

Applies to ReadyAPI 3.57, last modified on December 20, 2024

ReadyAPI has an internal browser which you can use as any browser to open web pages and work with services.

Important notes:

  • Restart ReadyAPI to apply changes.

  • These options are applied to all web pages you open in the internal browser.

To configure the internal browser:

  1. Click on the ReadyAPI toolbar.

  2. Select the Internal Browser tab in the left part of the ReadyAPI Preferences window.

The table below describes the available internal browser options:

Option Description
Self-signed certificate If selected, ReadyAPI ignores warnings about self-signed certificates.
Hostname verification If selected, ReadyAPI verifies the host name when it establishes an SSL connection. Disable the option to skip the verification. This may help you discover APIs that reside on servers whose name does not coincide with the server name specified in the certificate.
