LoadComplete licenses are bound to the hardware of the computers where these licenses are activated. LoadComplete detects changes in license-critical hardware components, considers the license invalid and displays this message to inform you about the issue.
What Can Hardware Changes Mean
-
For some reason, you changed the motherboard or hard drive on your computer (for example, they can be upgraded, broken or stolen). These components are license-critical.
-
You run LoadComplete on a virtual machine, and you cloned the machine or moved it to another physical computer. (LoadComplete licenses activated on virtual machines are bound to the hardware of the physical computers on which these virtual machines are running).
Possible Actions
Action | Description |
---|---|
Remove | Displays the License Deactivation wizard, which you can use to delete a product license from your computer (or virtual machine).
You will need another license to run the product on this computer. |
Rebind | Displays the License Recovery wizard, which helps you restore a license on your computer (in fact, the wizard “re-binds” the license to the new hardware).
Note that a license can be recovered only twice. For more information on license recovery, see the wizard description. |
Exit | Closes the dialog without making any changes to the licenses. |
