Message - 'Cannot create the file to save the log to...'

Using the Event View panel options you can tell AQTime to output the events to a .txt or an .xml file. AQTime displays this message when it cannot create the file you specified for the output in the panel options. There can be several reasons for this:

  • The file you specified is currently being used by another program (or by another AQTime instance).
  • The disk you specified in the file name is read-only.
  • You may have not have write permissions for the folder, where the file must be created, etc.

To solve the problem, specify another file name and path or close the application that uses the desired file.
