Use macros to expand the capabilities of your Confluence pages by adding extra functionality and dynamic content. Zephyr Scale Reporting for Confluence gives you real-time insights into your test management initiative with up to 60 out-of-the box testing macros. It’s a free app for Confluence, but it requires Zephyr Scale to pull data and render the reports/charts.

These macros give you the ability to create insightful testing reports to track coverage, progress, and quality across Jira projects, epics, and user stories. Then you can share the information with your colleagues for easier data analysis and collaboration.

Note: Zephyr Scale Reporting for Confluence must be installed for Confluence, and Zephyr Scale 4.5 or newer must be installed for Jira. This functionality is only available for Jira and Confluence Server at this time.

Add macros to a Confluence page

You can create live reports with testing metrics by adding a macro onto a Confluence page.

  1. Click the + (insert more content) icon on the toolbar, then click Other Macros.

  2. Click Reporting, then select your desired macro.

  3. Add a project, input the desired filter criteria, and click Save.

    A placeholder for the macro is added to the Confluence page. You can edit or remove the macro at any time.

  4. Click Save on the Confluence page.
    The macro with the report/chart appears on the page.
