Q.: Can AQtime profile script code?

A.: With AQtime you can profile scripts that are executed by the Microsoft Scripting Engine. This engine supports VBScript and JScript and is used by Internet Explorer, Windows Script Host and some other applications. For instance, it is used by TestComplete 8 and earlier, so you can use AQtime to profile automated test routines created in TestComplete by using VBScript, JScript, C++Script and C#Script (the implementation of C++Script and C#Script is based on JScript). Profiling of DelphiScript code and scripts created in TestComplete 9 and later is currently not supported.

To profile script code, you can use AQtime’s Performance, Coverage, Light Coverage or Function Trace profilers. For more information on script profiling, see the AQtime help.
