Using AQTime on Non-English Locales

Applies to AQTime 8.81, last modified on January 18, 2022

AQTime can profile Unicode applications as well as applications that use languages other than English (for example, French or Japanese). It can also profile applications with non-English characters in the file name or path. However, in order for AQTime to be able to profile an application that uses a specific language (either in the code or in the file path), you need to select the appropriate system locale in the system’s Regional and Language Options. The locale determines the language used to display non-English characters in AQTime and other applications.

The rest of this topic provides detailed instructions on how to change the system locale in various Windows versions.
