You use the Select Fields dialog to specify item fields to be used by an issue-tracking template. TestExecute will use this template to add a new item to or to modify an existing item in the issue-tracking database specified by template properties.
To call the dialog, click Add in the Template Fields section of the Template Editor dialog. It is possible only if you specify a valid connection, project and item type in edit fields of the Template Editor:
The Select Fields dialog lists available item fields. Check the fields, which you would like to add to the template, and click OK. TestExecute will add the item fields to the template and will automatically map them to template fields of the same name. Then in the Template Editor dialog you can modify template fields, change their order, etc. See Using Issue-Tracking Templates for more information on this.
