Message - TestExecute has no write permissions for the folder...

Applies to TestExecute 15.40, last modified on March 25, 2022

The Visualizer functionality automatically generates screenshots when recording or playing back test. Visualizer associates captured images with played back scripts and saves the images to the hard disk. TestExecute displays this message, if it does not have writing permissions for the folder where the images will be placed. This may happen, for example, if your project is located in a subfolder of the Program Files folder and you are working under a user account (not under an administrator account). By default, user accounts do not have write permissions for the Program Files folder, so TestExecute cannot save images to this folder. To solve the problem, ask your administrator for permissions.
