TestExecute’s installation program allows repairing your TestExecute installation in case it has been corrupted or inadvertently deleted. The repair procedure restores corrupted and missing files from the TestExecute installation, TestExecute-specific registry keys, file associations and others.
Before you start repairing the TestExecute installation, consider the following:

Your user account must have administrator permissions in order to repair TestExecute.

The repair procedure resets the TestExecute settings to default.
To repair TestExecute:

Close TestExecute, if it is running, as well as Microsoft Visual Studio, web browsers and any other open applications that TestExecute supports or integrates with.

Open the Control Panel | Programs applet.

Locate SmartBear TestExecute 15 in the list and click Change. The TestExecute installation wizard opens.

In the Welcome screen, select Repair and click Next to proceed.

In the confirmation box that asks whether you want to continue, click Yes.

Wait until the repair procedure completes and click Finish in the Repair Complete screen.
