Getting TestExecute Installation Package

After you request the trial version of TestComplete, you receive an email message from SmartBear. This message contains a link you can use to download the TestExecute installation package.

The trial package contains all the files and modules the commercial package contains. There is no need to download and install the commercial package after purchasing the product. All you have to do is to activate the commercial license of TestExecute.

You can download TestExecute installation package after logging into SmartBear Licensing Portal:

https://manage.smartbear.com/

Your security ID and password to sign into your SmartBear Account are included in the email message sent to the email address you specified when purchasing TestExecute. If you have not received this message or you cannot find it, enter your email address on the login page of the My SmartBear section and click Resend my login info.

To obtain TestExecute installation package:

1. Go to https://manage.smartbear.com/.

2. Enter your email address and password into the corresponding text boxes and click Login.

3. Under My Products, click the TestExecute version that you want to download. The version details page opens.

4. Make a record of license types and license keys displayed in the License Details section. You will need this information when activating licenses in TestExecute (see Activating Licenses).

5. Click the link in the Downloads section to start downloading.

6. In the file download dialog, click Save and specify the location where you want to save the TestExecute installation package.

7. You also need to download the License Manager installation package:

   downloads.smartbear.com/SmartBearLicenseManager.exe

   Install the License Manager on the computer that will be the license server in your company.
