When does the error occur?

The error occurs when you are trying to save a TestComplete project that is bound to a CucumberStudio project and TestComplete is unable to upload the changes to CucumberStudio.

Why is the message shown?

The message is shows if:

  • The Scenarios collection in your TestComplete project includes several Feature files as its immediate children. The Scenarios collection can have only one Feature file as its immediate child.

  • The Scenarios collection in your TestComplete project includes a Feature file and a folder as its immediate children, and their names do not coincide. The name of the root Feature file and the name of the root folder must be the same.

  • The name of the Feature item in your TestComplete project differs from the feature description (the first line of the feature description you can see in the Gherkin editor). You cannot rename Features in TestComplete.

Workarounds

Click Try later to cancel synchronization, go back to your TestComplete project and modify it to be able to synchronize it correctly. Click Undo Changes to revert all the changes you have made in TestComplete and to replace your TestComplete project files with the files from CucumberStudio. All the changes made in TestComplete will be lost.
