What's New in TestComplete 15.75

Below are the changes made to TestComplete 15.75 relative to the previous version of the product, TestComplete 15.74. For information on the changes made to other versions, see Version History.

• Ability to download Load Test reports in raw CSV or PDF formats. Users can now export LoadNinja test reports directly from TestComplete in raw CSV or PDF formats for more in-depth analysis and recordkeeping.

• Resolved compatibility issues with iOS 18.3.1 and Xcode 16.3 Beta 2 where object recognition failed post-upgrade.

• Fixed SmartBear browser extension issues on Citrix and VDI environments. Includes updates to ensure correct handling of registry keys and group policy dependencies.

• Resolved UI pipeline error “unable to get test results” when test scenarios included tags.

• Fixed the deprecated /touch/perform Appium command issue impacting local mobile test execution with newer Appium/UIAutomator2 versions.

• Resolved Azure DevOps integration issue where Log.Warning entries were incorrectly counted as errors in pipeline results.

• Fixed multiple regressions in the Keys() method where special characters such as asterisk, exclamation mark, and tilde were not input correctly or required duplication to be processed. These changes restore previous expected behavior and improve compatibility.

• Resolved the iOS interaction issue where clicks were not executed during recording sessions but appeared in the final script.

• Fixed the inability to spy or register objects from a specific form using NameMapping. Test execution no longer hangs on “Waiting for the panelDockContainer object”.

• Addressed the Azure DevOps warning related to the TestComplete adapter (InstallTestCompleteAdapter@1) relying on Node.js v10, which is end-of-life. While this did not break functionality, it raised concerns among users about future support and compatibility. The release includes updated handling.

• Fixed the issue where click actions on iOS devices required long press during test recording. Improved Appium compatibility and event dispatch reliability.

• Fixed the issue where the onUnexpectedWindow event was not triggered during script execution since version 15.52.2.7.

• Improved mobile test performance with BitBar. Resolved significant lag and test playback inconsistencies.

• Fixed JScript runtime errors occurring in .NET applications in versions 15.66 and 15.67.

• Fixed the issue where Raw CSV report failed to download after stopping the load test with "End Test" button.
