-
Support for Java 17. You can now use TestComplete to create, record, and run automated tests for Java applications created with Java 17.
Web testing improvements
-
Capture full-page screenshots of remote browsers. The
Page.PagePicture
method now works for remote browsers running in the Selenium Grid installed locally or in the CrossBrowserTesting.com cloud. This method captures a full screenshot of a web page opened in these browsers without scrolling it. -
Support for the latest browser versions. You can create, record, and run automated web tests on the following browsers:
- Chrome 95
- Edge Chromium 95
- Firefox 94
Mobile testing improvements
-
Support for iOS 14.8, 15.0, and 15.1. If your mobile tests rely on the legacy (non-Appium) approach to mobile testing, you can now create and run automated tests on these iOS versions.
-
When opening a testing session on a mobile device in the BitBar cloud, TestComplete now sets the
autoDismissAlerts
capability to false to prevent alerts, messages, and notifications in tested mobile applications from being closed automatically.
Overall improvements
-
We’ve improved the Dark UI theme to make it even more comfortable for human eyes.
-
We’ve also improved internal algorithms of simulating click-related actions on web and desktop controls. As a result, user tests including such actions have become more stable.
-
We’ve fixed several issues reported by our customers.
Discontinued support
-
TestComplete no longer supports Firefox versions 88–90.
