Bug Fixes in TestComplete 15.31

The following bugs reported by our customers have been fixed in TestComplete 15.31.

General

  • Fixed: TestComplete was not able to start on Windows 10 Pro N and Windows 10 Enterprise N.

  • Fixed: TestComplete could exit unexpectedly when closing a project.

  • Fixed: TestComplete could throw the ‘Invalid window handle’ error and then exit unexpectedly.

Desktop testing

  • Fixed: TestComplete failed to simulate recorded click actions over tree view items in WPF applications.

  • Fixed: TestComplete did not record clicks on headers of tree view items in WPF applications.

Web testing

  • Fixed: When recording user actions over Electron applications, for example, Microsoft Teams, or exploring them with Object Spy, TestComplete attributed UI elements to the about:blank webpage, rather than the actual page.

Mobile testing (BitBar and Appium)

  • Fixed: TestComplete failed to recognize menu items in Android applications running on BitBar devices and failed to simulate user actions over them.

  • Fixed: If an iOS application was in landscape (horizontal) mode, TestComplete determined the coordinates of UI elements in the application incorrectly.

Checkpoints

  • Fixed: TestComplete could exit unexpectedly when adding checkpoints to keyword tests.

Integration with other tools

  • Fixed: If Visual Studio 2022 was installed on a computer, the Team Foundation Version Control plugin of TestComplete could not detect available TFVC clients correctly.
