Bug Fixes in TestComplete 14.92

The following bugs reported by our customers have been fixed in TestComplete 14.92.

General

  • Fixed: TestExecute did not show test results after the test run had been over if TestExecute had been launched in Silent mode.

  • Fixed: TestComplete could exit unexpectedly when configuring TestNG tests.

  • Fixed: When running a part of a keyword test by using the "Run From Selected Operation" command, TestComplete could exit unexpectedly.

  • Fixed: If the TestComplete installation package was renamed to TestComplete.exe, the installation would be stuck.

Desktop testing

  • Fixed: TestComplete could exit unexpectedly when trying to access menu items in JavaFX applications.

Web testing

  • Fixed: TestComplete could not recognize the Confirm dialog in Microsoft Edge 92.

  • Fixed: TestComplete failed to simulate clicking an item in a drop-down list in Edge and reported the "The drop-down box cannot be closed" error.

  • Fixed: TestComplete failed to simulate opening a drop-down list in Edge by clicking it and reported the "The drop-down box cannot be opened" error.

  • Fixed: It could take up to several seconds for TestComplete to recognize an object in a web application when exploring the application with the Object Spy.

Mobile testing (Legacy)

  • Fixed: TestComplete could not install Android applications that had the android:testOnly flag in their manifest to mobile devices.

BDD testing

  • Fixed: In VBScript projects, BDD tests that included strings with the \ (backslash) symbol were parsed incorrectly preventing TestComplete from detecting and running BDD hooks.

Checkpoints

  • Fixed: Database checkpoints could fail even if the baseline and actual data were matching.
