Bug Fixes in TestComplete 14.74

The following bugs reported by our customers have been fixed in TestComplete 14.74.

General

  • Fixed: When working with the Code Editor, TestComplete could exit unexpectedly.

  • Fixed: The printed version of the Summary report did not show test status icons.

Web testing

  • Fixed: The Object Spy could not capture SVG elements on web pages in Chrome.

Mobile testing

  • Fixed: TestComplete could fail to launch a tested application on an Android device if the path to the application file contained spaces.

  • Fixed: An ambiguous error message was shown when TestComplete was trying to launch a tested Android application on a device where the application was not installed.

  • Fixed: If Mobile > Android options of TestComplete were not configured and an Android tested application was selected in the New Project wizard, TestComplete could exit unexpectedly.

Parallel testing

  • Fixed: An ambiguous error message was posted to the test log if TestExecute Lite was not able to run a test because the CrossPlatformTesting credentials were not specified or because the test included features that the Device Cloud Parallel license did not support.

  • Fixed: The label of the Concurrent license usage count option was obscured in the Options dialog.

Name Mapping

  • Fixed: Tests that were created in preceding TestComplete versions and that used objects mapped with conditional expressions could fail unexpectedly when run with TestComplete 14.73.

  • Fixed: The Name Mapping editor showed mapped names trimmed from the bottom rendering underscore characters invisible.

  • Fixed: The error message that TestComplete showed when trying to map an object that was already mapped did not fit the message box.

  • Fixed: When working with the Name Mapping repository, an unexpected error could occur.
