Unbinding TestComplete Projects From the Git Repository

Applies to TestComplete 15.10, last modified on December 15, 2021

When it is no longer needed to keep a TestComplete project or a project suite in a source control system, you can easily unbind it. To do it, follow the steps below:

  1. Make sure that your computer has access to the required Git repository.

  2. Remove a project or project suite from the repository:

    • Right-click within the Project Explorer panel and choose Source Control > Delete Repository from the context menu.

    – or –

    • Select File > Source Control > Delete Repository from the main menu of TestComplete.

    – or –

    • Click Delete Repository on the Source Control toolbar (if the toolbar is hidden, right-click the main menu and select Source Control in the ensuing context menu to show the toolbar).

TestComplete will unbind your project (or project suite) from the Git repository and delete it from the team project.
