User Keywords Options

Applies to TestComplete 15.10, last modified on December 15, 2021

The User Keywords dialog lets you define words, for which the Code Editor will use a special highlighting style. This is the style that is specified for the User reserved word element in Highlighting Settings.

The style that is set for the User reserved word element overrides any other styles that may be applied to a word you added to user keywords.

To call the User Keywords dialog:

  • Right-click somewhere in the Code Editor, choose Panel Options from the context menu and then select Panels > Code Editor > User Keywords on the left of the subsequent Options Dialog dialog.

– or –

  • Select Tools > Options from the TestComplete main menu and then choose Panels > Code Editor > User Keywords on the left of the resulting Options Dialog.

In this dialog, you can edit the list of keywords like in a usual text editor, simply click somewhere within the window and type the needed keywords.

You can separate individual keywords in the list with any non-alphanumeric symbols, including line-breaks.
