This topic describes the changes made to TestComplete 4.23. For information on the changes made to other versions of the product, see Version History.
- Now you can view the test log during test execution by clicking pause. TestComplete includes a new option, Show Log on pause, that lets you view messages posted to the test log when you pause the test execution. When you pause the test, the TestComplete Workspace panel displays the Pause Log window that contains results saved to the log.
- Now, when you edit a script unit, TestComplete creates a backup of the original unit file in the same folder. The copy has the original file name and the .bak extension. You can use it to restore the original unit code.
- Support for large script units has been improved. Since parsing of large units requires a lot of time, TestComplete now displays the parsing status in its status bar. Some menu items are automatically disabled during the parsing. For example, you cannot start a script routine execution during the parsing.
- A number of bugs have been fixed.
