User Interface Dialog

The User Interface dialog is used to configure the appearance of the TestComplete environment and to set the preferred style and options for all user interface elements.

To call the User Interface dialog, select Tools > Options from the main menu and then select General > User Interface from the tree displayed on the left side of the resulting Options dialog.

You can change the following options:

  • Look & Feel - Specifies the scheme that determines the appearance and behavior of the TestComplete user interface. Possible values:

    • Default

    • Windows theme (applies the current Windows style to the TestComplete user interface)
  • Announcements and Notifications - Specifies the behavior of the announcements and notifications popup window. Possible values:

    • Automatically display new announcements and notifications - If selected, all new announcements and notifications are automatically displayed in the popup window.

    • Do not automatically display new announcements and notifications - If selected, you should click the Show button to see announcements and notifications.

    • Disable announcements and notifications - If selected, notifications and announcements are unavailable to you. The Show button is removed from the TestComplete main window.
