When creating keyword tests, you may need to perform actions over non-visual objects (see Calling Methods and Properties of "Internal" Objects). To specify an object that is not on screen, but can be accessed through a property of an onscreen object, use the Select Property dialog.

In the dialog, you can choose a property that provides access to the desired non-visual object.

The dialog is invoked when you select Work With Object Through Property from the Keyword Test editor’s context menu that was called for an existing operation.

The dialog lists the properties of the object, with which this operation works. These properties return references to other objects.

To select the object, choose the property that returns this object and click OK to continue. Cancel will close the dialog and abort the operation.
