Use the CalculateHashValue
method to obtain a hash value for two files to be compared.

Parameters
The method has the following parameters:
File1 and File2
Specify the files whose hash value you want to calculate. You can either use the file name (including the path), or, if the file belongs to the Stores | Files collection, specify the file name in this collection.
Result Value
An integer value that indicates the hash value of the files specified by the method parameters.
Remarks
This method is obsolete. It is supported for backward compatibility only. To retrieve the value of the difference between two files, use the LastError
method that is called after the file comparison fails. See Comparing Files by Bytes for more information.
