Features Added to TestComplete 9.31

You can now automate testing of Delphi and C++Builder applications created with RAD Studio XE4, including 64-bit Delphi and C++Builder applications. (Please see the known issues below.)

• Added support for Firefox 23 and Chrome 29.

• Added support for Apache Flex 4.10.

• SPAN elements with a non-presentation role are now always included in the Tree object model, even if they have no text contents.

• Added support for the following versions of Web UI libraries:

  • Yahoo! User Interface Library (YUI) ver. 3.6.0 - 3.11.0.
  • Sencha Ext JS ver. 4.2.1.

• Added recording and playback support for JavaFX MenuButton controls and for the main and context menus in JavaFX applications.

• Added support for JavaFX 2.2.25.

TestComplete now supports .NET Windows Forms controls included in Syncfusion Essential Studio 2013 Vol. 2 (11.2).

The look and feel of the exported logs has been made closer to the TestComplete integrated log view:

• The Test Summary and Performance Counters panels are now displayed as tabs rather than separate nodes in the log tree.

• When you open an exported test log that contains errors, the focus is now automatically set on the first error.

• Logs with errors now have the Go to Next Error button for quick navigation through the error list.

• Added keyboard navigation support to the message list and Call Stack panels.

• Images in the Picture panel can now be scrolled by dragging them with the mouse.

• You can now double-click images in the Picture panel to open them in a separate window.

• In 64-bit C++Builder XE4 applications, TestComplete exposes only published native methods and properties of VCL objects. Public, protected and private native members are not currently accessible. You can automate these VCL objects by using published and standard members provided by TestComplete.

• TestComplete does not currently support TStringGrid controls in 64-bit applications created with Delphi and C++Builder XE3 and XE4.
