Default Project Properties - Custom Attributes Option

Applies to TestComplete 14.0, last modified on January 23, 2019

The Custom Attributes group of default project properties specifies default values for the Custom Attributes option of newly created TestComplete projects. This option specifies custom attributes of web elements that TestComplete will use as name mapping criteria if standard mapping criteria are not sufficient.

This option is available only if you have an active license for the TestComplete Web module and Web Testing is enabled in the File > Install Extensions dialog.

To view or modify the default Custom Attributes option:

  1. Select Tools > Default Project Properties from the main menu of TestComplete. The Default Project Properties dialog opens.

  2. Select Project > Open Applications > Web Testing > Custom Attributes from the tree displayed on the left of the dialog.

For a detailed description of this option, see Project Properties - Custom Attributes Option.

To save the changes you made to the options, press OK. Cancel will close the dialog discarding any changes.
