TestComplete consists of TestComplete Platform, several Modules (Desktop, Web, and Mobile) and the Intelligent Quality add-on (see About TestComplete Platform, Modules and Add-Ons).

Each component is licensed separately. They extend the TestComplete basic functionality with a number of specific features. Since they are licensed separately, some features may become unavailable after you update your license.

For example, you activate the commercial license of TestComplete after evaluating the trial version. Since the trial version includes all modules and add-ons, some features may become unavailable upon activating the commercial license if it does not support the same set of modules and add-ons.
