Default Project Properties

Use this dialog to specify default values that will be assigned to project properties when TestComplete is creating new projects. To call the dialog, select Tools | Default Project Properties from the main menu of TestComplete. All options that are available in the dialog are organized into the following categories that are shown in the tree on the left of the dialog:

Some of the above-mentioned categories customize the functionality provided by TestComplete plugins. If a plugin is disabled, the corresponding group is not available.

To view or edit options of a category, select this category in the tree. TestComplete will show the options on the right of the dialog.

To save changes you made to the options, press OK. Cancel will close the dialog without saving any changes.

Default project properties can be saved to a file and loaded from a file via the Export Settings and Import Settings dialogs. This can be useful during reinstallation of TestComplete. For more information, see Exporting and Importing Custom User Settings.
