TcxMemoProperties Object

The TcxMemoProperties object is a helper object that contains properties specific to the TcxMemo component as a multi-line text editor. To obtain the TcxMemoProperties object from scripts, use the TcxMemo.Properties property.

The ScrollBars and VisibleLineCount properties control the memo appearance. The Alignment, CharCase and WordWrap properties control the appearance of the text displayed in the memo.

Using the WantReturns and WantTabs properties, you can enable the memo to accept the Enter and Tab characters as part of the inputted text.

Alignment	Specifies the horizontal alignment of text in the component.
AutoSelect	Specifies whether the component’s contents are automatically selected when the component gets focus.
CharCase	Specifies the component’s text case.
ClearKey	Specifies the shortcut that will be used to clear the component’s edit field.
HideSelection	Specifies whether the text selected in the component appears highlighted when the component loses focus.
ImeMode	Specifies the mode of the Input Method Editor (IME).
ImeName	Specifies the name of the input method editor (IME) used to process the keyboard input.
MaxLength	Specifies the maximum number of characters that can be entered into the component.
OEMConvert	Specifies whether the characters inputted into the component are converted from ANSI to OEM and then back to ANSI.
Property	Obtains or sets the value of the property specified by its index.
PropertyByName	Obtains or sets the value of the property with the specified name.
PropertyCount	Returns the number of object properties.
PropertyName	Returns the property name by index.
ReadOnly	Specifies whether the component is read-only.
ScrollBars	Specifies whether the component has scroll bars.
VisibleLineCount	Specifies the number of lines in the component.
WantReturns	Specifies whether the component accepts Enter to insert a new line into its text.
WantTabs	Specifies whether the component accepts Tab to insert the tab character into its text.
WordWrap	Specifies whether to wrap the text displayed by the component.
