In version 15.76

Release 15.76 - July 9, 2025

Below are the changes made to TestComplete 15.76 relative to the previous version of the product, TestComplete 15.75. For information on the changes made to other versions, see Version History.

Improvements

  • Extended support for CEF versions up to 137. TestComplete now includes compatibility with Chromium Embedded Framework versions 130 - 137. This enhances support for modern desktop applications with embedded browsers.

  • Node.js LTS version alignment. Changed supported Node.js LTS runtime to version 22 to ensure stability and long-term compatibility.

  • Load testing script support. Added the ability to execute load tests from script tests. This allows users to define and manage load scenarios directly from existing TestComplete functional scripts.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed the issue with CEF version 129 where the -cdpAutoSetPort flag failed to enable proper communication with TestComplete.

  • Corrected a typo in the license manager dialog. “opne” is now properly displayed as “open”.

  • Resolved the issue where only one web page rendered with CEF was recognized in WPF applications.

  • Fixed regression that caused errors when using WaitAliasChild().Exists on non-existent windows. It restores behavior from version 15.71.

  • Improved support for interacting with Shadow DOM elements in cloud environments such as BitBar and BrowserStack. Fixed the NameMapping issues with Shadow DOM elements in remote BitBar sessions. Users can now interact with ShadowRoot elements as expected.

  • Implemented a secure decryption and reencryption flow to transmit password variables from TestComplete to Load Testing translator.

  • Fixed the issue with the Log.SaveToDisk() method. When called during a test case, it caused aqTestCase.CurrentTestCase to return null.

  • Improved the documentation and support for the TestComplete activation through command line in offline and on-prem Jenkins CI setups.
