Below are the changes made to TestComplete 15.69 relative to the previous version of the product, TestComplete 15.68.

Improvements

  • WebView2 support.

  • Improved installer that now includes a custom URL handler.

  • Enhanced instructions on embedded browsers.

  • Synchronized versioning of TestComplete, TestExecute, and TestAdapter.

  • Project synchronization between TestComplete and LoadNinja.

  • Improved exception handling for all API calls.

General bug fixes

  • Fixed the incorrect display of the test execution summary in TestComplete 15.68.

  • Addressed the issue with WebView2 skipping action steps in a recorded test.

  • Rectified the AI policy that shows while installing TestComplete.

  • Resolved problems around ClickItem() failing at some points within a test.

  • Addressed the issue with TestComplete crashing when spying on an object and multiple instances of Edge objects in the Object Browser.

  • Fixed some UI typos.

Load testing capabilities bug fixes

  • Resolved the problem with adding a child test to a load group. Note that only keyword tests are supported for the time being.

  • Addressed the issue of script tests turning into keyword tests while being added to a load group.

  • Changing the type of the test added to a load group has been hindered.

  • Fixed the problem with moving a test from execution plan to a load group.

  • Resolved the issue with a load group’s disappearing name while editing.

  • Addressed the unexpected behavior of TestComplete running all tests from the execution plan including unchecked tests from a load group.

  • The possibility to add the same test as a child test in a load group has been precluded.

  • Resolved the problem of extra folders being added upon adding a new folder from Project Suite Load Test Results.

  • Addressed issues running tests from a load group while removing or creating the same project.

  • Adding duplicated tests within a single load group has been hindered.
