The VirtServer panel in ServiceV allows you to connect to your VirtServer right from ReadyAPI. You can deploy virtual services to VirtServer, download them from VirtServer to your computer for editing, start and stop virtual services on VirtServer, and more.

To learn how to connect to your VirtServer, see Connect With ServiceV.

Here is a sample view of the VirtServer panel:

The number of records in the transaction log is limited by the VirtServer virtServer: maxTransactionLog setting. By default, VirtServer stores 20 recent records for each virtual service. If you need more, change the VirtServer settings. Note, however, that storing too many records may consume lots of memory on the VirtServer computer. Use a reasonable number. Restart VirtServer if you change the setting value.

  • The Activity page displays information about events that occurred on the selected VirtServer such as deploying or downloading a virtual service, starting and stopping virtual services, and so on.
