2. Install the MySQL Server

To access the MySQL data, you will need a MySQL server.

To install the MySQL server, perform the following steps:

  1. Download MySQL Installer from the MySQL web site:

    https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql/

  2. Install it on your computer and run.

  3. In the main window, click Add and use the installation wizard to install MySQL Server.

  4. After the installation ends, MySQL Installer will suggest that you configure it. Customize the server if you want or leave the default settings.

Now, you can import the sample database.
