7. Add a Data Source Loop

To make the test case repeat the test step, you need to create a loop.

Now you have a test case with a data source and the REST Request test step.

To make the test case iterate through all the table rows in the data source:

  1. Click .

  2. Enter a name for the data source loop.

  3. Click OK.

  4. The new loop will appear in the test case.

    The DataSource Loop test step will not work if placed before the request within the test case, so make sure to place it after the request.

    Open the data source loop.

  5. The Configure DataSource Loop dialog will appear.

    Select DataSource.

  6. Select Target Step.

  7. Click OK.

You have configured the data source loop.
