In ReadyAPI, you can add standard WS-Addressing (WS-A) headers for request messages and set a number of options related to WS-A.
To configure the options:

Click
on the ReadyAPI toolbar. -
Select the WS-A tab in the left part of the ReadyAPI Preferences window and configure the needed options.
The available options and their descriptions are in the table below.

| Soap action overrides wsa action | If selected, the SOAP action overrides wsa:Action, if present. |
| Use default RelationshipType |
If selected, ReadyAPI uses the default reply for RelationshipType, as specified in Message Addressing Properties.

| Use default RelatesTo |
If selected, ReadyAPI uses the default unspecified for RelatesTo, as specified in Message Addressing Properties.

| Override existing headers | If selected, ReadyAPI replaces the existing headers. |
| Enable optional addressing policy |
If selected, the optional attribute of the WS-Addressing for Policy Addressing assertion is enabled. See the WS-Policy Assertions specification.
