This topic describes ReadyAPI security options.
To configure these options:

Click
on the ReadyAPI toolbar. -
Select the Global Security tab in the left part of the ReadyAPI Preferences window and set a password.
The available options and their descriptions are in the table below.

| Password for encrypting readyapi‑settings.xml | Sets a password to protect the ReadyAPI settings file. |
| Disable the Load and Save scripts | If selected, ReadyAPI does not run Load and Save project scripts. |
