This topic describes how to work with the Plugin Manager that was replaced with the Integrations tab. If you use ReadyAPI 2.5 or later, see About Integrations.

This article describes various ways to install the ReadyAPI extensions.

Installing or Upgrading From Repository

  1. Open the Plugin Manager.

  2. On the Available tab, select a plugin from the list.

  3. Click Install/Upgrade Plugin.

  4. A confirmation dialog appears.

  5. Click Yes to download the plugin.

    The progress bar shows the download progress. When the download finishes, the installation will start automatically. After the installation, a notification message will appear.

    Note: You may have to close the repository and reopen it to see the updated information. We recommend that you always restart ReadyAPI after removing or installing plugins.

Installing From File

To begin the installation, you need to download a plugin file first and then unpack it. The unpacked file must have a .jar extension.

When you have the plugin file you need, you can install it:

  1. Open the Plugin Manager.

  2. Click Load plugin from file

  3. Browse to the plugin file and select it.

    Click Open.

  4. Click OK.

  5. Wait until the installation finishes and a notification window appears.

    Click OK.

  6. Click Close.

  7. Restart ReadyAPI.
