Ensure the following prerequisites are met prior to performing the upgrade:
Check system requirements
Make sure that computer where the product is installed and where you are going to install updated meets the system requirements.
Schedule the upgrade during a quiet time
Make sure all the users are logged off. Critical services will be stopped and restarted during the update.
Perform all tasks as an administrator
Perform the update on the application server as a member of the local Administrators group. This will ensure that services can be created, file system permissions can be set and properties for various objects can be configured as needed when the upgrade is applied.
Confirm 2012/2016/2019 Windows Server operating system and SQL Server
Since version 11.6, the product is supported on Windows Server operating system versions 2012, 2016 and 2019, and supports SQL Server versions 2012 - 2019. If the server hosting the application is running an earlier version of the operating system or SQL Server, STOP and contact our Customer Care immediately. You must migrate the system to a server running Windows Server 2012 or 2016 before you upgrade.
Make sure the WebSocket protocol is active
Since release 11.6, the product requires the WebSocket protocol to be active on your server. You can activate it on the Server Roles page in the Server Manager, in the Web Server (IIS) > Web Server > Application Development group.
Verify the current version
In your product, go to > Setup and verify your version is listed in the table below:
