Unable to install or upgrade Zephyr Enterprise Edition


Clean the registry for residues of previous zephyr instance


If the customer is having issue in installing or upgrading zephyr following steps should be taken in order to resolve the issue

  1. Uninstall Zephyr
  2. Check for residues in registry editor and clean them. Since zephyr installer and upgrader looks for registry id 9454-8337-5142-1668, there should not be more than 10 such entries. Note that after uninstalling zephyr there shouldnot be any such entry in your registry under the path Software/Microsoft/Windows/Uninstall


  1. Restart the system
  2. Double check if the registry is still clean
  3. Start the installation and upgrade process
