The Live Testing feature in BitBar Testing Cloud provides users with a way to have manual access to BitBar Testing devices. By clicking Live Testing in the main menu, the user will be directed to the Live Testing setup view.
The overall process for live testing is straightforward. Select the device to be used, start a session, and, once the session is up, select any app to be installed on the device or a file to be uploaded to it. The app and files are then usable during the live testing session. Once the session is ended, all files and apps are removed from the device and stored in the Past Sessions view.
BitBar supports live testing for Android and iOS devices. Android live testing is available to all users, but iOS live testing is available through dedicated devices in a public cloud. Enterprise and private cloud customers can decide whether to make iOS devices available to all or not.
