As part of our ongoing strategy for keeping DéjàClick up-to-date with new browser functionality, SmartBear has added support for 2 important HTML 5 features in DéjàClick V2.5.0.4, released January 9, 2013:
- Content Editable
- Local Storage
Changes to page elements that have the contenteditable attribute set, for example, <section id="editable" contenteditable="true">, will now be recorded.
If your web application uses Local Storage and you want the stored data to be cleared each time your transaction is replayed, make sure to enable DéjàClick Simulate New Visitor option when recording the script. You can also configure this setting in the DéjàClick Options dialog at the Advanced Display Level:
