By default, Chrome uses your system’s proxy settings. If you wish to use a different proxy server for your DéjàClick script or if you want to disable the proxy completely, you can do this by editing your script’s browser preferences.

Note: This functionality requires DéjàClick for Chrome v. 1.1.0.1 or later.
  1. Open your script in DéjàClick.

  2. On the DéjàClick toolbar, click Configure Options (Configure options) and select Advanced in the Display Level drop-down list.

  3. In the script, select the topmost item (the one that represents the script itself).

  4. On the Properties tab, expand Browser Preferences.

  5. Select Use custom proxy settings, then click the Edit settings link.

  6. This opens a dialog where you can enter the proxy settings.

You can choose from the following options:

    • No proxy
    • Auto-detect proxy settings for this network
    • Use system proxy settings (default)
    • Manual proxy configuration
    • Automatic proxy configuration URL
  7. Once ready, click OK to close the dialog.

  8. Click Apply to save the changes in your script.

    Apply proxy settings

After you change the proxy settings, play back the script on your computer, then run a test on demand at a remote location. If both local and remote playbacks are successful, you can upload the script to your AlertSite account.
