By default, Chrome uses your system’s proxy settings. If you wish to use a different proxy server for your DéjàClick script or if you want to disable the proxy completely, you can do this by editing your script’s browser preferences.
|Note:||This functionality requires DéjàClick for Chrome v. 22.214.171.124 or later.|
Open your script in DéjàClick.
On the DéjàClick toolbar, click Configure Options and select Advanced in the Display Level drop-down list.
In the script, select the topmost item (the one that represents the script itself).
On the Properties tab, expand Browser Preferences.
Select Use custom proxy settings, then click the Edit settings link.
This opens a dialog where you can enter the proxy settings.
You can choose from the following options:
Once ready, click OK to close the dialog.
Click Apply to save the changes in your script.
After you change the proxy settings, play back the script on your computer, then run a test on demand at a remote location. If both local and remote playbacks are successful, you can upload the script to your AlertSite account.
Private Node Server also includes proxy settings. Depending on your private node version, you may need to configure proxy just on the private node, or both on the private node and in DéjàClick scripts.
The proxy configured for the private node is automatically used for all DéjàClick monitor runs on this node. There is no need to specify the proxy settings in DéjàClick scripts. However, if specified, script proxy settings will override system proxy settings.
Private node proxy configuration is not used for DéjàClick monitor runs. You need to specify the proxy directly in your DéjàClick scripts as explained above.
