Network Suite Variables

Information in this topic applies to desktop and web applications.

Variables serve for storing data during the test run. They are used mostly in scripts and keyword tests to store the data that is accessed or returned by different script statements and methods. In addition to script variables, you can declare and initialize special variables that will be used by projects that are run by the network suite. These variables are called network suite variables (or NetworkSuite variables).

Network suite variables are shared among all projects that participate in distributed testing and make up the suite. So, you can use them to exchange data between projects. You create and modify these variables on the Variables page of the NetworkSuite editor.
