Network Suite Options Dialog

The Network Suite functionality will be deprecated in one of the future releases. We do not recommend that you use it for distributed testing. As an alternative, we recommend that you use a CI/CD system to manage distributed tests. To learn more, see Migrating Distributed Tests to CI/CD Systems.

The options in this dialog affect the network suite.

To call the Network Suite Options dialog, right-click the TestExecute icon () in the notification area (tray), select Options from the ensuing context menu and then select Engines > Network Suite from the tree displayed on the left side of the resulting Options dialog.

You can change the following option --

  • TCP ports for remote connections - Specifies the ports TestExecute and TestComplete Service use to communicate with remote computers participating in distributed testing. You can specify the first port of the range, the other two ports are set automatically.

    By default, ports 6095 - 6097 are used.

    If you use a firewall or an antivirus, make sure that the specified ports are open and the traffic is allowed through the ports.

    The same port range must be used on all the computers involved in distributed testing, otherwise, TestComplete Service will not be able to communicate with computers and the test will fail.
